Not for the squeamish.. they start around $3,500 and the extras add cost like the options list on a Lamborghini Murcielago. On par with my previous indestructible lap top though. That one was around 4 grand as well. When you need it, though.. you need it. I do long distance multisurface motorcycle touring. After only 5 days, the hard drive on the tough book I was testing sounded like a pachinko machine. so I went to a military laptop and that did fine.

I’m running Win 7 on mine.. and I couldn’t be more pleased with the OS thus far. The voice recognition is top notch. Was in a coffee shop showing it to someone who initially thought it was an ipad.. showed off the voice recognition and how it works seamlessly to open applications. Someone made the crack that “Yeah.. apple had voice recognition since the 90′s”. The guy who was trying the xplore out said.. “Yeah.. but this really works”. (smiles) Oooo.. fighting words.
@ubertablet No iPad will be safe if they do.
I just got one of these to use on multisurface motorcycle touring. I’m looking forward to posting an update in a few months to let folks know how it’d holding up.
Not much available on this unit as far as real world reviews so thanks for posting these videos.
Unfortunately it runs windows.
Next video: automatic weapons resistance? I’d like to have a notebook that doubles as kevlar.
Based on your videos, I’d say you’re much uglier.
Э! Надо было ещё утюг на аппарат положить потом для полного счастья!
oh sh*t , i’m sorry…i wish i could learn to watch the entire videos before commenting XD…you told why the led is red XD

using the Braniac name… for something that has NOTHING to do with Braniac… i despise a lier
that picture in the beginning is the WORST photo ever! don’ ever use it again FAGGET!
Military is too cheap to really purhcase these systems..
well its a tough book/rugged, so its temperature resistant and most likely drop resistant, so it would be excellent in Iraq, lmfao i like the sarcasm though. But the military is too cheap to really buy something worth their while, theyd rather spend 50 bucks on a brick that runs DOS lmfao
I did the same with my regular notebook. And it worked!…… ONCE.
i know right
Because there’s TONS of water there.
Holy crap, we could really use these things in Iraq…
Boy I sure hope our government and military are using these things everywhere…they’d be nut not to…..
I’m reseller of that stuff in Poland. They are rugged, Even my 5 years ancient son is not able to breake it. Amusing thing, during winter time my wife warms her feet using it.
Now thats exactly what I need for my underwater classes XD
Oh my goodness!!! What kind of tablet is this? This would be excellent in a convertible form factor for college students.
What a crazy PC! Incredible!
Awesome how much?!
