clean
touchscreen does not equal touchpad XD
maybe she was right handed..
If anyone watched that and thought that was a convoluted way of entering information, they’d be dead right. Use windows journal or onenote instead, and just store everything as ink.
looks kickass
lol you were watching for the pc and her knowledge? I was watching just to check that bitch out! She is hot!
WOW, terrible handwritting lol
This chick is useless PC user. No knowledge whatsoever.
yes
Just got one of these and yes you can use the tablet in landscape or portrait mode easily. Lovely notebook!!
awesome, excellent christmas gift
cant the tablet be widescreen
@Youkaiyoma Nothing noticeable. Especially if you have the pen calibrated right. I was really worried about this, too, but it really isn’t an issue.
any lag with it?
@raydillon Would you recommend the Cintiq 12wx or the Modbook!!!! I’m really annoyed because i’d like to give it a go….
@raydillon I was about to get a modbook second hand which turn out to be a total scam. I suppose I have to place that case hunting on hold. :[
@franklin20uk Not sure on a leather bound one, but the best one for Modbook is the “IT” case
Also turns into a easel!!!
I have it and it’s awesome!!
@raydillon I am looking for like a leather binder case like for the modbook, but with no luck. Like the ones they do for iPad. Any recommendation for that?
@raydillon Yes, I have heard. But the price tag is as jaw dropping as the product itself.
@franklin20uk Nope. Not multi-touch, but I really don’t feel that slowed down by it.
And to answer this and your other question, I believe the next model DOES have multi-touch and express keys, plus it’s also more light-weight. Haven’t heard any news in a while, but saw the prototype and it was awesome!
But I assume this thing isn’t multi touch, so you cant use the on screen keyboard with one hand and paint with the other hand?
@franklin20uk I use a thing bluetooth keyboard that works perfectly for most of what I do, BUT you don’t need it! There is an on screen keyboard! So you have everything you need in the machine alone. In fact, there are different formats of keyboards that you can show, too! Set up the buttons how you want them, click the button on your mouse and it pops up.
hope that helps. Again, I’m an artist on the go and it is absolutely perfect. Oh, also get the “IT” case for Modbook (google that!)
If they can add some express keys like the Wacom intuos and citinq on the interface on the side of the screen, it will be a total knockout! I am sure this isn’t hard to achieve!
I am thinking of getting my hands on one of these, since I am on the go a lot. But the first issue that comes into my head is working on PS without SHIFT, ALT and SPACE. Those are the three keys that I use a lot while painting. A bluetooth keyboard might help, but carrying a separate keyboard with me all the time seem to defeat the purpose of portability.
if you want to get FREE iPad,go to NAJVECI . COM and follow instructions!
If you want to do exactly this on the cheap…………Look on Ebay for ex-industry used tablet PCs……….I did and got a FUJISTSU STYLISTIC running XP Tablet editionfor just £128 delivered,
It works just fine with PHOTO-SHOP and COREL-PAINT
BRILLIANT!!!!
completely awesome, i wana buy one of these so terrible
The non-screen was my concern as well when I bought my Intuos4 but after a excellent half hour it feels as natural as anything. Everything gets some getting used to, even the one in this video. Oh and GIMP can be just as powerful a tool as PS. Like I said, everything takes getting used to. After two years using GIMP I can do anything a PS user could. But yeah man, just work hard and keep practicing.
This was a HUGE concern for me. There IS a tiny delay, but really it’s not noticeable. Just like any new tool, it will blend into you after a day or so and feel as natural as anything.
The delay has never been a problem for me. Much better than on my ancient system with a wacom tablet.
Oh, plus, since it trails behind your hand (the way a real brush would) you don’t SEE the delay. It’s usually hidden by your brush/hand/etc.
Hard to tell in the video, Is there a delay when drawing before it really shows up on the screen. Looks like there might be, but again hard to tell.
Hey thanks, I reckon its a fantastic catch finding a tablet that cheap
Get whatever you can get, dude! But, I would suggest that despite your age, you can make incredible things happen. I grew up poor, very poor, but I still managed to get up enough money to buy my first computer w/ accessories (which costs $5000 at the time) when I was 17. Getting the Modbook for $1500 should be pretty simple comparatively. Mow some lawns. Get a paper route. If you really want it, ,make it happen!
In the meantime, get that Bamboo. I don’t know much about it, but that’s a fantastic price.
This sucks I am only 14 and these things are so freaking expensive, I mean i have to deal with gimp right now instead of photoshop.
Would a tablet like the Wacom bamboo work just as excellent because its pretty cheap, I can get one for $69. The only problem is that I have seen that the image doesnt show up on the tablet you can only see what your doing on the pc screen, I just need to know if one of these is any excellent.
i already have a very expensive excellent pc…
and i need some very powerful machine to do 3d whit…
Oh, okay, yeah look into ebay and craigslist, things like that. With the modbook, we’re talking the full tablet pc for $1500. My fiance got mine from a deal on Craig’s List.
No, this is perfect as a portable. It’s really light weight and it IS the computer, so you can carry it around anywhere. I use to try to take my laptop and Wacom tablet with me, but it took up so much room and was kind of awkward. This, though, is the size of a sketchbook and very simple to carry around.
I would very much recommend the ModBook if you need portability!
the one of 2300 euro is a wacom cintiq and thats only a monitor ^^
